June 1989 Became executive and managing director of Nomura Wasserstein Perella Co., Ltd.
July 1999 Became president of TOKYO M&A Co., Ltd.
March 2009 Became chairman of TOKYO M&A Co., Ltd.

He has been involved in a broad range of investment banking activities such as M&A and corporate finance both domestically and abroad for over 50 years. He has been involved with the Nomura Securities Group’s company specializing in M&A, Nomura Wasserstein Perella Co., Ltd., from just after its inception, creating the foundation for M&A in Japan. He has been heavily involved in management issues facing small and medium-sized enterprises through the establishment of TOKYO M&A Co., Ltd.
